Awards

The Sandbox Foundation provides grants to graduating high school seniors, who enroll in furthering education and will incur personal expenses. Applicants for Sandbox Foundation Awards can be submitted directly or through the RHS Scholarship Fund.   Awards will be open to U.S. citizens, with preference given to applicants from Macomb County, Huron County and Michigan at large. Applicants seeking awards for continuing education at trade schools may be considered even if they are not high school graduates (Wayne Scholarship).

Inspiration Scholarship:

Granted to a high school graduate enrolling in higher education, best describing their inspiration for continued education and who is also in need.

Barbara Faye Scholarship:

Granted to a high school graduate enrolling in continuing education, who best describes how they would apply Judea/Christian principles in their education or career and who is also in need.

Wayne Scholarship:

Granted to a student enrolling in continuing education or trade school, best describing the value of work and/or service and who is also in need, with preference given to applicants not enrolling into a university.

Continuing Scholarship:

Granted to a previous recipient of a Sandbox Foundation Award or a Kuchenmeister Family Scholarship, who is continuing their education for a second/third/fourth year and who is in need.  Preference is given to applicants who have already received a Sandbox Foundation Award or a Kuchenmeister Family Scholarship, in the past five years.
