{"id":223,"date":"2015-12-03T21:30:57","date_gmt":"2015-12-03T21:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/site\/?page_id=223"},"modified":"2020-06-03T23:14:01","modified_gmt":"2020-06-03T23:14:01","slug":"applications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/index.php\/applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications for Annual Grants, Awards or Scholarships should be submitted via email to the foundation at <a href=\"mailto:Awards@SandboxFoundation.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Awards@SandboxFoundation.org<\/a>.\u00a0 Applications from Romeo High School students may submitted in person to their counseling office, who will forward the application directly to the foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ApplyForScholarships.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-550 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ApplyForScholarships.png\" alt=\"ApplyForScholarships\" width=\"800\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ApplyForScholarships.png 800w, https:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ApplyForScholarships-300x170.png 300w, https:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ApplyForScholarships-500x283.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Each application must include the following.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A completed <a href=\"http:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Sandbox-Foundation-Schoarship-Application.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cCommon Application Form\u201d<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/sandboxfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Sandbox-Foundation-Schoarship-Application.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to download<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A one or two page \u201cSubmission Paper\u201d addressing the following three topics.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Describe what inspires you.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>How would you apply Judea\/Christian principles in your education or career?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Describe the value of work and\/or service.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cSubmission Papers\u201d may be typed or handwritten and can be formatted as an Essay or as a Letter to the review panel.<\/p>\n<p>Each application should contain a total of three or four pages, including the two pages of the \u201cCommon Application Form\u201d and a one or two page \u201cSubmission Paper\u201d.
